If you have an SSL certificate hosted on your GoDaddy hosting or GoCentral account, and you need to change the domain name, you will need to uninstall your SSL certificate before you can change the domain name.
- Log in to your GoDaddy account and open your product. (Need help opening your product?)
- Click Rekey & Manage.
- Click Change the site that your certificate protects, select Uninstall from hosting account, and click Save.
- Click Submit all saved changes.
Your certificate will uninstall within a few minutes.
